Web Developer

The Web Developer will be part of the Web Team and will be responsible for updating and maintaining multiple websites across several unique brands, including new content updates, design updates and new functionality. This position will work with company Brand Managers and CMO to create an exciting user experience for our online customers, while maintaining the sites to ensure that they are up-to-date, functioning properly and meeting current web standards. 

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Website updates and maintenance, including new content updates, design updates and ensuring they are functioning properly.
  • Work with fellow teammates with monthly web product launches across several brands. 
  • Create new website properties, including new websites, microsites and landing pages to support brand eCommerce initiatives and goals. 
  • Oversee and maintain all aspects of eCommerce for brand websites. 
  • Perform regular testing of websites to identify any issues.
  • Maintain Web standards for all assets used.

Ambassador & Influencer Marketing Manager

This position is full-time (5 days/week) and on-site at our headquarters in North White Plains, NY. Compensation is DOE.

Position Overview:

MAC Group is looking for an energetic, thorough and charismatic Manager of Ambassadors and Influencers. You will play a critical role in MAC Group's growth by optimizing our relationships with some truly creative and talented individuals.

The ideal candidate should bring existing relationships in some or all of the creator, vlogger, photo, video and audio communities. You should also be methodical and honest about how effective your efforts can be, and how well we can work with specific outside creators to achieve our various goals, which will vary by brand.

You should also have strong relationship-building skills, and an effortless ease when communicating with people from all walks of life. You should have a deep understanding of the evolving landscape of creators and influencers as a means to expand awareness for our products and initiatives. 


Responsibilities:

  • Establish brand and product awareness by partnering with key creators at all levels
  • Cultivate a community to drive conversations online and in person about our most important products, and the problems they solve for creatives
  • Communicate all feedback to our internal team - positive and negative (so we can grow!)
  • Focus on a high (and improving) conversion rate for successful reviews and content creation versus gear sent
  • Create and improve our strategies for discovering, maintaining and growing our creator influencers and ambassadors
  • Communicate, communicate, communicate. 50% of this position requires being in constant, friendly contact with very interesting people outside MAC Group (and within!)

What you will be doing:

Establishing the overall strategy for the program's success, and individual tactics used to implement it

Sending out gear to influencers and ambassadors

Assiduously following up to track content & review publishing status, roadblocks, etc. + helping navigate those hurdles

Identifying which influencers are eligible to become ambassadors

Enhancing and expanding our relationships with brand ambassadors

Tracking efficacy of the program via specific KPIs

Collaborating with Brand Managers at MAC Group to receive the initiatives and product focus, and reporting clearly on progress

Working closely with MAC Group's Social Media Manager to communicate and announce successful content activations


Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in an influencer marketing, media relations, and/or strategic partnerships role at an agency or brand
  • At least 2 years in a management position (as this program is likely to grow and if done right, you will likely have people reporting to you)
  • Relationships first: You believe that everything starts with the quality of your relationships, and you conduct your professional life as such
  • Humble: Seriously, you can do it all, and you do, but don’t feel it's necessary to spend time talking about it. “Actions speak louder…” and all
  • Comfortable with all social media platforms, with particular emphasis on YouTube and Instagram
  • Strong written and oral skills: You know and appreciate the nuances of the English language, and use it well
  • Hungry to learn: You have always given yourself the mission to know more without anyone driving you.

Community Management Specialist

This position is full-time (5 days/week) and on-site at our headquarters in North White Plains, NY. Compensation is DOE.


MAC Group is looking for a Community Management Specialist to serve as the initial point of contact for inbound requests from our established presence on social media and other online platforms. The Community Management Specialist will be responsible for ensuring active and engaged communities around a defined topic or topics by managing long-lead editorial calendars, monitoring online conversations and participating in those conversations to build brand visibility and thought leadership. 


The goal is to create increased traction and sales though establishing a presence for our brands by integrating the brand message and persona through their interaction with the community


In this role, you will work directly with our Digital Marketing Manager and establish a strategy for communication and engagement with the Chief Marketing Officer, Sr. Marketing Team Leader and Brand Groups. 


Requirements:

  • An intimate knowledge of photography and filmmaking, their technical needs, and their creative requirements. The candidate must be able to curate, identify, and establish clear guidelines for what constitutes a technically and artistically compelling image or piece of motion 
  • Experience developing and implementing tactical plans — including inspired and moderated solutions that involve personal engagement, dedication to the brand message, and a focus on customer service — that build and nurture online communities
  • Has demonstrated expertise in engaging and activating online community groups and shown the ability to replicate this at the community and individual level.
  • Experience locating and engaging ambassadors within the separate communities to foster dialogue and partnership
  • Has demonstrated an ability to create personal, on-brand messaging incentivizes the creation of user-generated content and its subsequent sharing
  • Experience in establishing metrics, gleaning community insights and reporting/recommending strategies that achieve marketing and business goals
  • Understanding what’s possible on the various technology platforms and the ability to educate and integrate the needs of clients, creative team and developers

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience managing social media platforms or communities for brands
  • Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields.
  • Photography knowledge a must. 
  • This is a salaried, full-time position in White Plains, NY. Relocation is not presently available as part of this opportunity.
