| Featured Student: Sylvia Gowrie. Gowrie decided to study photography to expand the creative work she was already doing as a makeup artist. With a focus on fine-art portraiture, she works with her subjects to create finely crafted scenes. "I take each person's lifestyle, their individuality, into consideration and then decide how to photograph them, she says." Gowrie storyboards her shoots in advance and does all of the costume making and makeup herself. |
