Paid Photography Intern Position
Job Description:
We are seeking a smart, motivated, organized individual for photography internship. We offer exciting learning opportunities in the full range of commercial photography work, as well as leading edge web video production, in a comfortable and friendly working environment.
While some of the projects will be exciting, you should be comfortable doing basic studio chores (cleaning, organizing gear, breaking down). You should be a self-starter, able to contribute without constant supervision.
Qualifications and Requirements include:
· Strong work ethic and the ability to find useful tasks. We expect you to be attentive and alert at shoots. If you experience downtime, we expect you to find work -- there's always plenty to do at our studio.
· Strong organizational skills and problem solving. We expect you to be able to organize gear and contribute good ideas to our production process.
· Intermediate Photoshop skills: clipping paths, basic color correction, retouching.
The following skills are a plus:
· Familiarity with photo studio gear and terminology
· Basic editing experience in Final Cut Pro
· Reliable transportation
· Some flexibility in scheduling
· Familiarity with transcoding video
We are seeking a commitment of 10 - 20 hours work per week. Pay is $7.25 per hour and you will also receive college credit.
